Kedarnath Yatra stopped registration till May 25 to streamline flow of pilgrims 2023

As many as 18,840 pilgrims visited the Kedarnath shrine on Sunday, according to data released by the tourism department. A tourism department official said on Monday that registration for the Kedarnath Yatra has been stopped until May 25 because of the number of pilgrims who reach the shrine rather than the weather.

The media cell officer for the tourism department, Pradeep Chauhan, stated, "The registration has been stopped for Kedarnath until May 25 to streamline the flow of pilgrims."

Since the beginning of the chardham yatra season, the Cha Dham shrines have been visited by approximately 8,31,131 pilgrims.
