Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal in Agra is the Mughal era's pinnacle of sophistication and aesthetic splendor. Fatehpur Sikri

By 1568, Akbar had established his empire, but the fact that he did not have a son or heir was his only regret. His quest for endowments for the introduction of a replacement carried him to the Sufi mishit Salim Chishti, who lived in Sikri town. Three sons were predicted by the saint, and Prince Salim, who would later become Emperor Jahangir, was born shortly after. Akbar made the decision to construct the Imperial residence in Sikri, which would serve as a joint capital with Agra, as a gesture of gratitude. The new city was also given the name Fatehpur Sikri. Rumi Gate

Dhamek Stupa

Dhamek Stupa is the most perceptible design in Sarnath, close to Varanasi. It is one of India's most well-known Buddhist structures. In order to replace an earlier structure commissioned by the great Mauryan king Ashoka in 249 BCE, the Dhamek Stupa was constructed in 500 CE.
